About the Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County

The Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County is a non-profit organization that promotes the highest possible standards of service, care, and well-being for older and disabled adults. Our Mission: HCPC strengthens senior care by connecting healthcare professionals through purposeful networking and by raising charitable funds that support aging adults and the programs that serve them. Our Vision: A future where every older adult in Pierce County benefits from a strong network of informed professionals, collaborative partnerships, and charitable resources that ensure access to compassionate, high-quality aging support.

Since 2000, the Health Care Providers Council of Pierce County has grown to over 330 individuals who represent various organizations committed to providing exceptional services to seniors in our community. Our members enjoy monthly breakfasts, networking events, recognition events, promotional opportunities, employment opportunities and educational events.

Throughout the year funds are raised at our meetings via raffles, meeting and event sponsor opportunities, and donations. Each December we donate the charitable funds to each senior center in Pierce County.

HUGE THANKS to Lloyd Story and Film for taking such beautiful pictures during our 2025 Holiday Party!

In 2022 we established the Bob Riler Community Service Award.

The Bob Riler Community Service Award recognizes an individual that demonstrates an enduring commitment of service to senior residents of Pierce County. This award honors the memory of Bob Riler, who worked at the Pierce County Aging and Disability Resource Center for over seventeen years. During his distinguished career, Bob worked tirelessly to support the senior and disabled population in Pierce County to remain healthy, safe, and financially stable in their homes. Bob was a cherished member of Health Care Providers Council (HCPC) and was heavily involved in every event they hosted. This award provides recognition to those individuals that have carried on Bob’s legacy in their daily work and as a member of HCPC. We are proud to announce the 2025 recipient- our own Trish Cooper, president of HCPC.

In 2025 we established the Bob Riler Community Fund which is a financial gifting program that provides help to seniors through donations from the public and businesses when there are no other options for them.
